Dr Mark McGreevy (PhD, Msci) Qualifications and ExperiencePhD – (2007) Computer Science This work featured a major mathematical component, implementing Artificial Intelligence to solve a series of real world scheduling problems within a highly constrained environment. Msci (2001) – Mathematics. I completed my four-year masters degree program in Mathematics. I specialised in Applied Mathematics, which features the study and solution of real world mathematical problems in the areas of mechanics, optimisation, and analysis. I have also studied Pure Mathematics, Statistics and Financial Mathematics during this course of study. I have been involved in mathematics tuition since 1998 during my degrees, assisting in undergraduate teaching and supervision as well as GSCE and A Level Mathematics tuition on a one to one basis. Other Qualifications I enjoy learning languages, which I feel complements Mathematics, and enhances my enjoyment of foreign travel. I have language qualifications (at various levels of competency) in French, Spanish, Italian, and Japanese, and hope to commence German in September 2007.
